Introduction
The human body is a creation of nature and it is therefore, subject to the laws physics. That is why, in order to explain the basis of the computerized pulse analysis, we have to make an excursion into the very root of matter in the world.
Origin of Matter
The developers of the “computerized pulse analytic diagnosis” adhere to the ether theory of matter beginnings – arising of atoms and molecules of chemical elements: Ether is the sole quasi-isotropic, non-compressible and ideally flexible circumstances. It is the initial matter and carrier of the whole energy and processes in Universe (1).
The existence of atoms made up of chemical elements is stipulated by power of compression of said ether. When the compression is increased, the space begins to fill up by vortex formations. These vortex formations are places of concentration of ether, where the ether exists by way of closed streams. In this case, one-way motion of ether particles is the sole mode to compensate increasing pressure and decrease the Brownian (chaotic) part of movement. It is this peculiarity of self–organization that is the second key factor of nature apart from entropy.
Self-organization and entropy are two main factors of the physical world like Yin and Yang in Oriental philosophy – all energy processes in the universe are subject to self-organization (capturing the energy and building some matter formations) or to the entropy process (releasing the energy into free form of chaotic movement of ether) (2).
The sum of energy in processes of self-organization and entropy is full energy of the universe. A stable (eternal) universal process of self-organization and entropy should hold equal amounts of energy. The lifetime of a single vortex formation is short. Nevertheless, it is possible to imagine the creation of more complicated formations from single vortexes when sides of inflow and outflow of ether in vortexes will coincide. This aggregation of vortex formation can close the flow of ether in circulation. This way of formation is a principle of creation of particles and atoms of matter world (3). When ether pressure is decreased, the vortex’s formations begin to disintegrate. If pressure decreasing is deeper, all vortex formations decay before the whole matter world disappears. This is the presentation of reactions of vortex formations at changes of ether pressure. In addition, this reaction is a cause of inertia and quantization of energy processes.
Dynamics of chemical reactions
The process of chemical reactions is an organic continuation of the ability of a vortex formation towards self-organization. At this new level, there is a play of geometry of vortex aggregations and their orientation in the space. External pressure of ether is provided by the unique condition of the process of chemical reaction. All these factors predetermine peculiarities of interaction of chemical elements. Relative consistency of ether pressure locally and based on the place in our lives, gives us stability of chemical elements of Mendeleev’s table.
However, the larger the vortex formation, the longer the way of ether flow; thus, a higher ability to split the vortex aggregation into more simple segments under external factors. That is why more heavy chemical elements have peculiarity to decay (radioactivity).
From the other side, the ether pressure is submitted to fluctuation and decay of chemical elements and is also changeable (4, 5). Any chemical reaction is accompanied by absorption and tearing away of vortex formations. These vortex formations stipulate quantum conditions of chemical elements. Tearing away and decay of vortex formation is the cause of local compression of ether in the vicinity of atoms and it increases the temperature (exothermic reaction). Capturing off-site vortex formations can cause decompression of ether in the vicinity of the atom and accordingly, the temperature is decreased (endothermic reaction). If the ether pressure is relatively unchangeable, exothermic and endothermic chemical reactions have a stable level in accordance with the current value of ether pressure.
Chemical reactions in organism
It is easy to understand that the human body is a part of nature and it is a result of the same processes that were described above.
Taking into account the peculiarity of self–organization, the human body itself is a giant aggregation of vortex formations with a hierarchical organization of ether flows in closed circulation. We should understand that the “regularity” of ether flows is also a result of prolonged evolution. The more stable ether constructions survived and they created a mechanism of replication like a specific form of genome.
From this point of view, the genome has memory of all changes (mainly pressure of the ether) from the very beginning and it is equal to the sense of experience in human life. Oscillation of the ether, stipulates changes of ether flows inside giant ether conglomerates (like our bodies). The flow of the ether becomes a different density alongside the pathway. Areas of high and low pressure arise in the body.
Reduced pressure of the ether flow causes prevailing exothermal reactions with irradiation of heat and oxidation processes in tissues. There is process of catabolism in cells and tissues of the body. The destruction of biological structures have a pace (as a rule, more weakened systems are subjected to decomposition). Compression of the ether shifts the chemical balance to the endo-energetic side. There is absorption of heat and reduction processes. Process of anabolism prevails over catabolism, old cells are restoring and new ones grow.
Thus, the sole cycle of metabolism arises and anabolic and catabolic phases start eternal alternation. The living process is going at conditions of synchronization of anabolic/catabolic cycles, as between all cells in an organism do with cycles of ether pressure in environment (9).
At the same time, synchronization has active and passive form:
- Passive
- in the course of ether pressure changes – potential managing channels in cell’s membrane;
- Active
- by volitional method on the base of gene-experience information and readings of feedback channels - receptor managing channels in cell’s membrane. (10).
The level of synchronization of cells between them and with environment is the main factor to save the entity of an organism.
Functional systems of organism
Theory and practice of several thousand years of traditional Chinese medicine postulates the definite number of functional systems in organisms and their interrelations. (11, 12).
There are only ten paired main systems:
- Heart – Small Intestine,
- Spleen – Stomach,
- Lungs – Large Intestine,
- Kidneys – Urinary Bladder,
- Liver – Gall Bladder
Such functional dividing, informs us that all cells in the body are divided into ten large groups in accordance with type (anabolism/catabolism) of metabolic activity at an appropriate time on the scale of the living cycle. Therein, we cannot associate cells of definite organs with an appropriate system completely. It is possible only to say, that the majority of the cells of the organ have the same rhythm as an appropriate functional system, but there are a lot of other cells all over the body having the same metabolic rhythm also. From the point of view of metabolic processes, ANY disease can be described by only level of equilibrium between anabolism and catabolism and rhythmic parameters of cells of ten functional systems.
Thus, through the well known cycle of the Five Elements (Wu-Xing cycle) we can interpret in terms of anabolism/catabolism as follows (Fig. 1):
- The catabolic activity of the Liver promotes the catabolic activity of the Heart (red arrow), which suppresses the catabolic activity of the Spleen (blue arrow) and Gall Bladder (by principle of inversion). At the same time, it promotes the anabolic activity in cells of suppressed systems.
- The catabolism of the Heart stimulates the anabolism of the Small Intestine (inversion), and the suppression of catabolism in the Spleen, stimulates the catabolism in Stomach (inversion).
- The catabolic activity of the Heart promotes the catabolic activity of the Spleen (red arrow), which suppresses the catabolic activity of the Lungs (blue arrow) and Small Intestine (by principle of inversion). At the same time, it promotes the anabolic activity in cells of suppressed systems.
- The catabolism of the Spleen stimulates anabolism of the Stomach (inversion) and suppression of catabolism in the Lungs stimulates catabolism in the Large Intestine (inversion).
- The catabolic activity of the Spleen promotes the catabolic activity of Lungs (red arrow), which suppresses catabolic activity of the Kidneys (blue arrow) and the Stomach (by principle of inversion). At the same time, it promotes the anabolic activity in cells of suppressed systems.
- The catabolism of the Lungs stimulates the anabolism of the Large Intestine (inversion), and the suppression of catabolism in the Kidneys stimulates the catabolism in the Urinary Bladder (inversion).
- The catabolic activity of the Lungs promotes the catabolic activity of the Kidneys (red arrow), which suppresses the catabolic activity of the Liver (blue arrow) and the Large Intestine (by principle of inversion). At the same time, it promotes the anabolic activity in cells of suppressed systems.
- The catabolism of the Kidneys stimulates the anabolism of the Urinary Bladder (inversion), and the suppression of catabolism in the Liver, stimulates catabolism in Gall Bladder (inversion).
- The catabolic activity of the Kidneys promotes catabolic activity of the Liver (red arrow), and suppresses the catabolic activity of the Heart (blue arrow) and the Urinary Bladder (by principle of inversion). At the same time, it promotes the anabolic activity in the cells of suppressed systems.
- The catabolism of the Liver stimulates the anabolism of the Gall Bladder (inversion), and the suppression of catabolism in the Heart stimulates the catabolism in the Small Intestine (inversion).
When the wave of activity has reached the Liver, the metabolic cycle repeats. A scheme of interaction of functional systems from the point of view of anabolic activity is the same as it is described above, but the maximum of anabolic activity per each system is shifted at half of the metabolic cycle (180 degrees).
The scheme of interaction of systems can be presented as five four-terminal networks, connected as follows (Fig.2). Four-terminal networks are used as the base element in theories of informatization and automatic control systems.
This scheme has two remarkable characteristics:
- Each element in the group has a direct connection with all other elements (it is maximum for four-terminal network) and it means maximum controllability of the whole system.
- If we imagine that the five four-terminal networks represent some flows via five faces of the sole cube in our three-dimensional space, the sixth face must equalize these five flows (in accordance with law of conservation). Therein, the sum of the Five Elements is the inversion of the sixth Element – there is a relation of Yin and Yang. In addition, the sum of Yin and Yang represents the sole cube in our three dimensional space as a unified element. Two adjoining cubes can represent at the same time Ying and Yang, ten functional systems and the sole dipole.
- Effect of energy frame
The topography of a functional cell’s disposition in organisms and parameters of ether oscillation at these places, determine characteristics of the energy frame of the body (13, 14). Therein, the energy frame is the number of several aggregates of points in the space where the density of ether is equal at the same time. As far as the movement of ether is universal, it is manifested at different levels of the physical world – thermal, electro-magnetic, acoustic and so on. All these levels are synchronized in a very accurate manner. The total sum of energies of all ether’s manifestations cannot be less or higher than the total energy (pressure) of ether at any given point. Amplitude of oscillation of ether pressure at a point is an indication of the power of energy processes.
- Measurable parameters in computerized analytic pulse diagnosis
To determine the oscillation of ether pressure at points of ether, frame acoustic waves are used. Acoustic waves are presented by waves of the human pulse. The human pulse is a folding of ALL energy processes in the body and it has fractal (15) conformity with level of cells. Special procedures and algorithms are used to mine out parameters of metabolic activity of all 10 functional systems from the pulse signal.

Metabolic Balance: "Parameters"
- Health vector – this indicator shows the level of orderliness of structure. Positive high levels reflect high ability to maintain dynamic entity of the object. From the one side, high levels are a good sign, when we have low levels of “Adaptation”. When the patient is ill, his energy structure can correct the situation. Nevertheless, when the “Adaptation” has high levels, the patient is less sensitive to environment. At some cases it may be dangerous if external influence will be powerful and functional systems are not enough flexible to change their metabolic rhythms.
- Tension – this indicator shows the total level of metabolic energy in comparison with the average level of healthy condition. Usually, high levels of energy are connected with low quality of synchronization. In this case, functional systems have to maintain high metabolic activity to support required managing signals in the Wu-Xing cycle. Cells of functional systems work at low efficiency and with great deterioration. In this case, the conductivity of the condition is very low and there is lack of electrons. Usually, catabolic activity is presented and the pH indicator has a low level in the blood (acid reaction).
In the case of low level of metabolic energy, the conductivity of condition is increased and it can easily transmit managing signals in Wu-Xing cycle. Usually, low levels of energy are connected with high level of electrons and low level of protons (high pH indicator – alkaline reaction of blood) and prevailing of anabolic activity in the whole body.
- Adaptation – it is a synthetic indicator of several inner factors of the pulse analysis. Here we have tried to create a universal index of health. We consider a good level is at 80%. Readings above 80% reflect over-adaptation and a reduction of influence of environment. In this case, an organism can be overworked, but at some level, it can be destroyed very quickly (like a glass under blow). Levels lower than 80% indicates a different ability to bring heavy job. At figures of 0-10% the body is very vulnerable to any disease. The consistency of this indicator at low levels is an indication that illness is present. The more negative the Health vector (the first indicator) – the more serious the disease will be.
- Catabolic/Anabolic balance – these indicators are present for Yin and Yang systems and show the type of metabolism at a generalized level. If there are readings above zero, the system has catabolism and an acid reaction of the blood (low pH), and vice-versa, if the readings are below zero, anabolic process have taken place and an alkaline reaction of the blood is present (high pH).
- TriDosha – these indicators are an interpretation of Ayurvedic Doshas. The Tridosha diagram shows the fullness of appropriate systems. You should read special literature regarding this subject.
Metabolic Balance: "Balance"
Diagram “Balance” represents three types of diagrams for each functional system:
- Red line – level of catabolic processes. When there is indication over the zero line, it is prevailing of catabolic activity over anabolic one; and vice versa, indications below the zero line shows prevalent anabolic activity. At Fig. 4 Urinary Bladder has the highest catabolic activity and Small Intestine the lowest one.
- Green line – level of chaos, this indicator is opposite to positive direction of health vector. At Fig 4, the Liver suffers from lack of order.
- Purple line – level of general energy of anabolic and catabolic processes. This line shows relative quantity of energy. High level means so-called fullness (in traditional Chinese medicine) and low level – emptiness. Another interpretation of this diagram can be information regarding quantity of properly working cells at given functional system. At Fig. 4 Small Intestine has the highest level of energy (fullness), but Stomach has the lowest one (emptiness).
Note: One should understand that it is a very dangerous situation when there is emptiness of energy and prevailing of catabolic activity – degenerative changes of tissues with replacement by new connective tissue takes place. On the other hand, if we have fullness of energy and deep anabolic condition (red line is very lower zero line), we can suspect cancer in this system and uncontrolled grow of cells.
Metabolic Balance: "Wu-Xing" cycle
Represents the diagram “Balance in form of Wu-Xing cycle”, where it is easy to evaluate the interaction between functional systems and to select the cause of disease. For example, at Fig. 5 we can see a relative excess of catabolic activity in the Liver and anabolic activity in the Heart. To decrease the anabolic condition in the Heart, we should increase the anabolic condition in the Kidneys (it will be very useful for Kidneys to restore tissues because they have emptiness – low level of purple line). High anabolic activity will suppress the anabolic activity in the Heart and increase the anabolic activity in the Liver. Nevertheless, fullness of the Liver will increase, thus, we should increase the anabolic activity of the Lungs, to restore the Lungs (they have also low level of fullness) and to suppress the fullness of energy in the Liver.
In this example, one can understand why it is very important to learn the Wu-Xing cycle. It gives creative freedom to treat the patient very personally, trace the result of your therapy and change it dynamically in accordance with changes in the patient.
Statistics: List
Statistics shows dynamic changes of parameters per each of the ten functional systems during several measurements of pulse diagnosis. It allows one to evaluate the grade of health problems and to watch the influence of treatment methods. To select desired entries, use function “Mark” and the press button “Stat.”.
Three types of diagrams will be calculated per each parameter of ten functional systems:
Statistics: Accumulated Data
Entropy
In this case, we have a high level of entropy (chaos in energy processes) for Liver (green broken line) and a low level for Urinary Bladder (blue solid line). It means that the Liver has more high possibility to be damaged than other functional systems, and the Urinary Bladder is much healthier than other systems.
Fullness
Fullness indicates the power of a cell’s oscillation. From the point of view of energy, it means that systems with higher levels of fullness have more quantity of energy in a given functional system. The quantity of energy is dependent upon the amplitude of the metabolic cycle, the quantity of working cells and the quality of synchronization with other functional systems.
In the case, fullness of the Gall Bladder and the Small Intestine (solid green and red lines) have the highest level. In other words, the cells of the Gall Bladder and the Small Intestine are full of life and energy. On the other hand, fullness of the Liver has the lowest value. It means that the Liver has very little life and energy. At the same time, the problems with the Liver are proven by diagram of entropy, where the Liver has the highest level of entropy (chaos).
Heat
This diagram indicates symmetry of the metabolic process, i.e. – balance between anabolic and catabolic processes. As far as catabolic processes are accompanied by irradiation of heat, positive values of the diagram show an inclination to the catabolic side (heat in Traditional Chinese Medicine). Negative inclinations (lower zero) mean shift to the anabolic side (Cold in Traditional Chinese Medicine).
For our case, we have the highest catabolic activity (Heat) in the Gall Bladder system. Together with the highest level of fullness in the previous diagram, it means that energy of the Gall Bladder prevails over other systems in the body.
The Liver also has a rather high level of catabolic activity. Against a background of high level of entropy and low level of fullness, the condition of the Liver is dangerous. If the situation continues into future, the Liver will be destroyed (burned out) by catabolic processes.
Report, printing
Report button allows one to print output diagrams. In addition, it is possible to export the data into a graph file (red arrow at picture).
Correlation Analysis
The Correlation Analysis allows one to calculate the correlation of a health profile (conditions of ten functional systems) with the profile of any treatment method or another health state (special databases are provided by request).
The result of the Correlation Analysis is a ranked list of correlations with assigned database of medicine or treatment method. Any medicine or treatment method has a profile of action to all 10 channels.
Calculation is made for two types of correlations:
- Correlation with diagnosis – calculate simple correlation without taking into account possible contradictions, which can worsen health state,
- Efficiency – calculate correlation without contradictions.
On the right side of the window, there is the list of sorted objects in accordance with their rank in correlation table. The most suitable objects are placed at first lines of the list (Fig. 12). The border of “grey lines” limits the level of assigned correlation. In our example, it is 10%.
When the mark “Heat enable” is ON, the calculation is made by parameter “Heat” as we have mentioned before, otherwise the parameter “Fullness” will be used.
Each medication or treatment has an appropriate description
