What is Metabolism?
| Metabolism - is the set of chemical reactions that occur in living organisms in order to maintain life. These processes allow organisms to grow and reproduce, maintain their structures, and respond to their environments. |
Metabolism is divided into two categories
- Catabolism
- - this process yields energy, an example being the breakdown of food in cellular respiration.
- Anabolism
- - it is opposite process, it uses the energy of catabolism to construct components of cells such as proteins and nucleic acids.

- Origing of pulse diagnosis
Pulse diagnosis is one of four diagnostic pillars in Chinese medicine. It is derived from concepts of wholism where the parts represent the whole. The radial artery at the wrist is palpated and the observations are classified according to process and form. There are numerous models that provide information about systemic function. Some may give information about the acupuncture channel systems, others explore features such as circulating blood volume. It is a brilliant form of clinical assessment that is documented with 2,000 years of case studies and observations.

Pulse Metabolic Diagnosis is based on physical theory of energy movement in our 3-dimensional space.
Quantum character of any chemical reaction generates impulse of transient processes. As far as our bodies consist of water at 70-80 percents, transient processes birth shock waves of energy in the medium. These waves may be positive, when the chemical reaction irradiates energy, and negative, when reactions absorb energy.
Billions impulses form a very complicated picture of interferential waves in space of the body. Interferential waves create lattice of energy density with nodes at definite points of organism. Low density stimulates catabolic processes, but high energy density produces anabolism. Cyclic changes of energy density at every node of the body and type of metabolism are changing synchronously.
